Atlanta hosts eight FIFA World Cup 2026 matches at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the 71,000-seat downtown venue that also hosts Atlanta United FC of MLS and the NFL's Atlanta Falcons. Five group-stage games are scheduled there — including Spain's opener against Cape Verde and a second-round Spain–Saudi Arabia fixture — plus a Round of 32, a Round of 16 and a quarter-final.
