What is Football Wordle?
Football Wordle, also called Footdle, is Wordle with footballers. Each day there is one mystery player, and you have 6 tries to spell his surname.
Every guess must be the surname of a current player in the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A or Ligue 1 with the right number of letters. Green means the right letter in the right place, yellow means the letter is in the name but somewhere else, and grey means it is not in the name at all.
Stuck? The hint shows the player's club. The daily player is the same for everyone, so you can share your grid with friends, and unlimited mode gives you a new player whenever you like.

Current players at the biggest clubs in the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1, with a surname of 4 to 8 letters.
Why was my guess rejected?▼
Each guess must be the surname of a current big-five league player and have the same number of letters as the answer. Accents are ignored.
Is it the same as Footdle?▼
It works the same way as Footdle and other football Wordle games: guess a footballer's name letter by letter.
Is there a new player every day?▼
Yes. A new daily player starts at midnight UTC and is the same for everyone. Unlimited mode gives you new players as often as you like.
