Getting Started with RenderFoot
Pick a match, choose what to make, and post it. This guide walks through every kind of graphic the editor can produce, and what each one costs.
On this page
1) Create your account
- Click Get Started and sign up with your email.
- You start with 5 free credits — no card needed.
- Open the dashboard and pick a match to begin.
2) Generate a lineup
- On Home, choose a league, then a round, then the fixture you want.
- Pick which team you are building — the squad loads from real team data.
- Swap players, change the formation, or fix a name before you generate.
Confirmed lineups usually appear about an hour before kickoff. Until then you can build a predicted eleven by hand.
3) Generate player ratings
- Open the Ratings editor and pick the match you have just watched.
- Give each player a mark out of ten and choose your man of the match.
- Generate once you are happy — the layout handles the rest.
4) Generate the league table
- Open the Standings editor and choose a competition.
- Set how many teams to show, and which places count as Champions League, Europa or relegation.
- The bands are colour-coded on the table automatically.
5) Generate a fixture slate
- Open the Fixtures editor and pick a competition and round.
- Every match in that round goes into the graphic, with dates, crests and kickoff times.
- Long rounds are split across pages — you can export every page at once.
6) Generate match moments
- Open the Events editor for goals, cards, substitutions, VAR calls, full time and man of the match.
- Switch to Auto and the real match timeline appears — click a moment and the card fills itself in.
- Manual works too if the match is not in the data yet, or you want to word it your own way.
This is the fastest way to post while a match is still playing: a goal card takes a couple of clicks.
7) Style it your way
- Open the Style pane and pick a template — starter packs are included, or use one you have saved.
- Set your colours, background, brand handle and logo.
- Save it as a template and everything you make afterwards matches.
8) Video or image, then share
- In the Style pane, Output chooses between a vertical video and a still PNG.
- For an image, pick which frame you want — the starting eleven, the formation, the table, and so on. The preview holds on your choice.
- Everything you make is saved to your library, and you can download it whenever you like.
A fixtures slate that spans several pages exports as one PNG per page — ready to post as a carousel.
9) Credits
- A video costs 1 credit and an image a fifth of one, so a pack of 30 is 30 videos or 150 graphics.
- Credits are only spent on finished files. Previewing, editing and saving templates are free, and a failed attempt costs nothing.
- There is no subscription and credits never expire.
- Anything exported from a free account carries a RENDERFOOT.COM mark in one corner. The preview stays clean, and buying any pack removes it for good.
Troubleshooting
- The squad has not appeared? Confirmed lineups arrive about an hour before kickoff — build a predicted eleven until then.
- The preview looks frozen? Previews pause while the browser tab is hidden, to save battery. Come back to the tab and it resumes. In image mode the preview is a still, so it is meant to hold on one frame.
- The button asks for more than one credit? You are exporting a multi-page carousel — it shows the total before you press it.
- Not enough credits? You are told before anything starts, and your work stays exactly as it is.
- Your league is missing? Ask for it from Support in the dashboard and it can usually be added.
