Guess the NFL Player
A new mystery NFL player every day. Each guess tells you how close you are on team, division, position, age, height and jersey number. You have 8 tries.
How the NFL player guessing game works
Guess the NFL Player is a daily NFL wordle: one mystery player, eight guesses. Type any current NFL player and the game compares them with the answer across six clues, so every wrong guess still narrows things down.
Green means a match. Yellow means close: the right division but the wrong team, the right conference but the wrong division, or a position in the same unit, like a wide receiver when the answer is a tight end. Arrows on age, height and jersey number tell you whether the answer is higher or lower.
The daily answer is always an established starter, picked from players with big passing, rushing or receiving seasons and the league's top pass rushers, so it's someone a regular NFL fan has a fair chance of knowing. Everyone gets the same player each day, and it changes at midnight UTC.
Want more than one a day? Unlimited mode deals a new random player whenever you like, and hard mode widens the pool to every regular contributor in the league, not just the stars.

Arrows on age, height and number point toward the answer: up means higher, down means lower.
Narrow it down
Use the team and division colors to close in on the franchise, then position and number to find the player.
