Answers come from this season's Champions League squads and each player's full club history, refreshed every week. Each grid includes at least two of the biggest clubs and every square has at least one answer from this season's Champions League squads. How does it work?▼
It is tic-tac-toe with football. On a 3×3 grid every row and every column is a Champions League club. To claim a square you name a player who has played for both clubs. Get all nine squares to complete the grid.
Which players count?▼
Players in this season's Champions League squads who have been registered with both clubs at some point in their career. Retired players and players who are no longer at a Champions League club are not in the pool.
Is there a new grid every day?▼
Every game draws a new grid, so you can play as many as you like. Each one includes at least two big clubs (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Manchester City, PSG, Inter, Arsenal, Dortmund) and every square has at least one possible answer.
Can I play against a friend?▼
Yes. The 2-player mode lets you take turns on the same screen: name a player who fits a square to claim it, and a wrong answer passes the turn. First to three in a row wins.
How often are the squads updated?▼
The player pool is refreshed every week from our football data provider, so transfers and new signings show up within a few days.
