Frequently asked questions
How does it work?▼
It is tic-tac-toe with football. On a 3×3 grid every row and every column is a Liga MX club. To claim a square you name a player who has played for both clubs. Get all nine squares to complete the grid.
Which players count?▼
Players in this season's Liga MX squads who have been registered with both clubs at some point in their career. Retired players and players who are no longer playing in Mexico are not in the pool.
Is there a new grid every day?▼
Every game draws a new grid, so you can play as many as you like. Each one includes at least two big clubs (América, Chivas, Cruz Azul, Pumas, Tigres, Monterrey) and every square has at least two possible answers.
Can I play against a friend?▼
Yes. The 2-player mode lets you take turns on the same screen: name a player who fits a square to claim it, and a wrong answer passes the turn. First to three in a row wins.
How often are the squads updated?▼
The player pool is refreshed every week from our football data provider, so transfers and new signings show up within a few days.
